Captain Willy Everglades Tours offers two main tours categories, Semi-Private and Private, for the visitors to decide if they want to share or not, the airboat space with other group of visitors. Then visitors can choose up to 3 hours during day time and up to 2 hours at sunset/night time.
The Captain
Captain Willy is a very knowledgeable and experienced young person with a hearth driven passion for the Florida Everglades. Captain Willy isn’t an airboat pilot; he is a magic tale whisperer who gets the wild animals of the Evergladles come close to his airboat to make you live a one in a lifetime adventure; words aren’t enough; you have to come and experience it yourself!
The Everglades
The Everglades is a subtropical wetland ecosystem spanning two million acres across central and south Florida. During the wet season, Lake Okeechobee overflows, releasing water into a very slow moving, shallow river dominated by sawgrass marsh—dubbed the “river of grass.” The water flows southward, passing through diverse habitats, including cypress swamps, wet prairie, and mangroves, until it reaches Everglades National Park and eventually Florida Bay.
